{Here's A Great Dinner Idea...}

This is one of my family's favorite meals...

Pork Tenderloin and Mushroom Rice

1 Hormel Pork Tenderloin
1 cup Mahatma White Rice
2 cans Campbell's Beef Consomme'
1 stick butter
1 jar button mushrooms
1 small onion, minced
1 Tb. parsley

I have tried other brands of pork tenderloin,
but Hormel is always the most tender.
You can buy different flavors.
We like the Teriyaki and Lemon Garlic.

~ Spray your pan with Pam and sprinkle the tenderloin
with lemon juice, garlic salt, and parsley.
~ Cover with foil and cook at 375 degrees
for 1 hour 45 minutes.

~ Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet.
~ Add the onions and cook until translucent.

~ Pour the beef consomme' into a large bowl.
~ Add uncooked rice.

~ Cut the button mushrooms in half and
add to consomme'.
~ Add the butter and onions.
~ Add 1 Tb. of parsley.
~ Salt to taste.

~ Pour into a baking dish that has been
sprayed with Pam.
~ Cover with foil and cook at 400 degrees for 1 hour.

~ Slice pork tenderloin.

~ This rice always turns out perfect. It is soooo good!

~ Serve with a green vegetable and garlic bread.

*If you are serving 6 or more, you will want to
cook 2 tenderloins.
