{Dishes, Dishes, Dishes}

I have a thing for dishes!

I have so many, I've run out of room.
But...that doesn't stop me from buying more.

I like all colors...

 all styles...

      I like themed dishes...

and even white dishes.

I like to look at books to get table setting ideas,
and these two books are wonderful.

Really...I just like anything to do with dishes!

This is my dish pantry...

and there's more...

and this isn't even half of my dishes!

{My Little Pink Bakery}

I put the finishing touches on my bakery this morning,
and I wanted to give you a peek inside...

I like the way it turned out!

It makes me smile to look inside!

Something for everyone!

Have some coffee while we put the last minute touches on your cake.

The kitchen is upstairs.

Taking a coffee break and boxing up cakes.

It's going to be a busy day so we made plenty.

Sugar for the sugar cookies!

Someone was a little messy!

The refrigerator is full of cakes!

My cake and donut boxes.

Back downstairs for another look.

The sun is shining in on the candied apples!

     Take one last little peek inside before you go.

Thanks for stopping by!

{The Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich}

I had lunch at a cute little place in Mountain Brook, Alabama, called Olexa's. I looked over the menu and something caught my attention. "The Ultimate Grilled Cheese." Ahhh... comfort food. It was served with a bowl of yummy tomato soup and I have to say that it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had! I couldn't get this sandwich off my mind, so I experimented and got pretty close to the original. Here's my version...

The Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich

1 loaf of really good bread
(I used Italian Five Grain Bread from Publix)
1 block of Cheddar cheese
1 block of Monterey Jack cheese
1 jar of Pesto (the magic ingredient)

~ To make it easy, I used Campbell's Tomato Bisque soup.

~ Slice the cheese.

~ Butter the outside of the bread.

~ Spread the pesto.
~ Layer the Cheddar cheese and Monterey Jack cheese.

~ I used a panini sandwich maker.
~ If you don't have one you can use a non-stick skillet.

~ Garnish the soup with a dollop of sour cream
and a little parsley.

     Dip your sandwich in the soup and you'll
have the Ultimate Grilled Cheese experience!

I decided to take a break from baking sweets today
and was in the mood for pizza!

My daughter designed the "A's Pizza" logo.
